Pastoral Staff
TIM BARTON, Pastor
Tim and Vicki Barton, natives of North Carolina, moved to South Jordan in September of 2003. They were married
in 1981 and have two grown children. Their son, Timothy, is an ordained minister. He and his wife, Caryann,
have two sons, Garrison and Justin. Their daughter Allison married Donovan, a Utah native, and they have one
son, Phillip.
"Family is a big deal to us. Raising our children to adulthood has been a highlight in our lives. Our desire and constant prayer has been that they would love God. And we prayed for years that they would marry spouses who love God, and God, by his grace, has answered these prayers. And of course having grandchildren is like icing on the cake. We are very grateful for His many kindnesses to us."
Tim has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America for over seventeen years following eight years working in a family business. He ministered in North Carolina before moving to Utah. He has a Bachelor of Biblical Education and a Master of Divinity.
On any given day when taking a break from ministry responsibilities, you can find Tim enjoying the outdoors of Utah. Golfing and working in the yard are his favorite hobbies. Vicki is a registered nurse working in a heart cath lab. She is an experienced teacher and enjoys ministry to other women. Vicki also enjoys reading, cooking, and entertaining guests most of all. Tim and Vicki have both learned to ski since moving to Utah.
REID JONES, Assistant Pastor
Reid and Kelli Jones, together with their baby girl Lucy, moved to Utah in the summer of 2010. Both Reid and
Kelli grew up in southern Alabama and met in college at Troy University. Before seminary Reid worked as a
graphic designer for a marketing firm in Alabama.
In 2007 Reid and Kelli moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where Reid attended Reformed Theological Seminary. After receiving his Master of Divinity, Reid was called to minister in Utah, and has since become an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. "We have absolutely loved living in Utah! The people are kind, the weather is fun, and all the outdoor stuff to do isn't too bad either!"
Reid enjoys serving as the Assistant Pastor at Jordan Presbyterian Church and looks forward to seeing how the Lord continues to work in Utah. Kelli loves her new role as mother and is so thankful for all the new friendships she has made in Utah.
