Community Groups
The Christian life is never meant to be lived alone. From the beginning of time God has been at work building His Church all across the earth. Local congregations are only a part of Christ's greater Church—but a very important part! Jordan Presbyterian Church provides Community Groups as opportunities for people to interact with one another and grow in their Christian walks together. Our Community Groups meet in several homes across the Valley and on different nights of the week. We study the Bible together, we pray for one another, and ultimately we share our lives with each other—all for the purpose of knowing and loving our Savior more.
Community Groups have recently begun a new session. The locations and times for the three fall groups are as follows:
Sundays – 6:30pm-8:00pm – at David & Susan Holt’s
Mondays – 6:30pm-8:00pm – at Janet Poel’s
Mondays – 6:30pm-8:00pm – at Heath & Rachel Eldeen’s
We meet weekly at the various locations for fellowship, scripture study and regular prayer for various ministries and missions of the church, missionaries we support, as well as prayer for each other. Each group is studying 1 John: How to Be Sure. (Booklets are available for purchase in the church lobby.)
