Meet the McKinneys

Daniel and Stephanie McKinney, natives of Georgia and South Carolina, respectively, moved to West Jordan in April of 2006.  They have been married for six years and have three beautiful children: Joshua, Emma, and Elijah.  Daniel graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri with a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Counseling.  Stephanie graduated with a “Wife and Mother of the Decade Award” for getting Daniel through school!

 We moved out to Utah because our passion is for people to know and enjoy the freedom and life that comes with knowing Jesus Christ.  We long for them to know how much God loves them and how much he delights in them because of the finished work of Jesus.  This is something God has been teaching us for the last five years, and we are excited about how God might do the same thing in many lives in the great state of Utah.

The McKinneys are “outdoor wannabes” so they are learning to mountain bike, camp, and hike.  They are certainly taking advantage of the low humidity which they never experienced in the South.
